Digital Sculpture Rendering
Like the Xenomorph, this exception for posting fan art of an established intellectual property is for technical considerations. With this sculpture, I made a body, chainmail, leather straps, and finally hard surface armor all within Zbrush. Drops of round hitting were sculpted, brought into the KeyShot and layered over the model. Finally, the entire rendering was composited and finished in Photoshop.
I'm grateful to WETA Workshops for envisioning and creating this interpretation from Toklien's work, as much of their designs inspired me from a young age.
